Audit your sync groups: List the databases, tables, and filters currently configured in Data Sync. This becomes your SymmetricDS table routing config.

Stand up SymmetricDS nodes: Deploy the SymmetricDS server alongside your databases. A single JAR or Docker image with no cluster required to start.

Configure channels and routers: Map your existing sync rules to SymmetricDS channels. Bidirectional sync, filters, and conflict resolution all have direct equivalents.

Cut over and remove Data Sync: Disable your Data Sync sync groups. SymmetricDS takes over well before the September 2027 deadline.
